Terms of service

Last updated 4 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (or the business you represent) and Roy Azran, trading as “Cosmo” and “CosmoCMO” (“we”, “us”). They cover Cosmo at cosmocmo.com and everywhere you talk to Cosmo: the web app, WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, email and phone. By starting a trial or a plan you agree to them.

They take effect on 4 November 2026. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

  1. 1. Who we are

    Cosmo is provided by Roy Azran, a sole trader (self-employed) in Tel Aviv, Israel, trading as Cosmo and CosmoCMO at https://cosmocmo.com. For support, privacy and legal questions, write to roy@cosmocmo.com.

  2. 2. What Cosmo is

    Cosmo is an AI marketing assistant for founders. It is software, not a person and not a licensed professional (it doesn't give legal, tax or financial advice). It runs on AI models, mainly Anthropic's Claude.

    Depending on what you connect and approve, Cosmo can:

    • scan your website and write a marketing plan, a brand kit and documents;
    • write, design and schedule social posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and X, Pinterest and Bluesky through Postiz);
    • create and manage ad campaigns on your own Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn ad accounts;
    • write SEO and GEO articles and publish them to your website (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Wix, GitHub or Framer);
    • find leads and run cold email from your own inboxes (Gmail, Outlook or SMTP/IMAP);
    • draft posts and DMs for Reddit, Hacker News and LinkedIn for you to post yourself;
    • prepare launches and directory listings;
    • make creatives, short videos (reels) and videos with AI actors;
    • research your niche and competitors, check how AI assistants mention you, and report on results from GA4, Search Console, Stripe and your ad accounts;
    • use its own web browser for research and, with your approval, simple web tasks.

    Some features depend on third-party services and platform approvals, and may not be available to everyone at all times.

  3. 3. Nothing goes out without your yes

    Cosmo proposes each action as an approval card: the exact post, article, email batch, listing, ad, budget or web task. Nothing is posted, sent, published or spent until you approve that card. You can approve, edit or skip it.

    • Ads start paused. New campaigns are created paused, so no money is spent until you turn them on or approve a card that does.
    • Optional auto-approve. If you turn on low-risk auto-approve, Cosmo may approve scheduled posts and directory listings on its own, but only for a kind of card on a channel you have already approved at least 3 times in the last 30 days without skipping one. Ads, budgets, emails and anything not marked low risk always ask. Scheduled posts can still be pulled before they go out. You can turn auto-approve off at any time.
    • You are responsible for what you approve, including anything approved through auto-approve: that it is accurate, lawful, yours to use, and follows each platform's rules.
  4. 4. AI can be wrong

    Cosmo's plans, drafts, research, numbers and suggestions are generated by AI and may be wrong, out of date, incomplete or similar to content made for others. Review everything before you approve it, and don't rely on Cosmo for decisions that need professional advice.

  5. 5. Your account and messaging channels

    • You must be at least 18 and use Cosmo for your business, with authority to accept these terms for it.
    • Give us accurate details and keep your login and messaging channels secure. Cosmo only acts on messages from contacts you have verified, and anyone who can message Cosmo from one of those channels can approve cards for you.
    • Each brand needs its own Cosmo workspace and plan.
  6. 6. Platforms you connect

    You connect ad accounts, social profiles, websites, inboxes and analytics through each platform's own sign-in, and you can disconnect them at any time. You must have the right to connect them. Each platform's terms and policies apply to your use of it, and you agree to follow them, including:

    • Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Meta Ads and WhatsApp), including the Meta terms and the WhatsApp Business policies;
    • Google (Google Ads, GA4, Search Console and YouTube). If you use YouTube features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy;
    • LinkedIn, TikTok (including TikTok For Business) and Stripe;
    • X, Pinterest and Bluesky, which Cosmo reaches through Postiz;
    • your website platform and email provider (Google Workspace or Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, or your own mail server).

    We don't control these platforms. We aren't responsible if one changes its rules or API, rejects or removes content, limits or suspends your account, or is unavailable.

  7. 7. Ads and ad spend

    Ad budgets are billed by the ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and others) directly to your own ad accounts and payment methods. They are not part of your Cosmo plan, we never mark them up, and we are not responsible for those charges, including spend you approved.

    Cosmo caps the daily budgets it proposes, but you set and approve budgets, and you should watch your ad accounts. Platforms may spend slightly over a daily budget under their own rules.

  8. 8. Cold email and outreach

    Cold emails are sent from inboxes you connect, in your name. You are the sender and the controller of your lead lists, so you are responsible for following the law where you and your recipients are, including CAN-SPAM in the US and the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU and UK. That includes having a lawful basis to contact each person and telling the truth about who you are.

    • Every cold email includes a way to opt out, and Cosmo stops a sequence when someone replies, bounces or asks to unsubscribe. Don't try to email those people again.
    • Sending is capped per inbox per day (30 by default, up to 100), with a slow ramp-up for new inboxes, to protect your deliverability. You can connect up to 5 inboxes.
    • Don't upload lists you bought or scraped without a lawful basis.
  9. 9. Reddit, Hacker News and LinkedIn messages

    Cosmo does not post or send messages on Reddit, Hacker News or LinkedIn DMs for you. It drafts them, and you post or send them yourself, under your own account and those communities' rules.

  10. 10. Cosmo's browser

    • Research runs only read public web pages.
    • Act runs (for example filling in a directory submission form) happen only after you approve that exact task on that site, and stay on that site.
    • Cosmo's browser never enters passwords, payment or card details, bank details, government IDs or one-time codes, never creates accounts or signs in for you, and never accepts terms for you. When a task needs any of these, or hits a CAPTCHA, it stops and hands the step to you.
  11. 11. Videos and hosted media

    Reels and other videos Cosmo renders are stored on Google Cloud Storage at public URLs, so platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube can fetch them when you approve a post. Anyone who has a link can view the file. Don't put anything in a video that you want to keep private.

  12. 12. Research and public data

    Niche, competitor, keyword, ad library and lead research uses publicly available data and business-contact data from third-party providers. We don't guarantee that it is complete or accurate. Use it lawfully and in line with the source platforms' rules.

  13. 13. Plans, trial and billing

    • There is one plan: $99 per month (USD, before tax), with every feature included and fair-use allowances (for example 100 static creatives and 10 AI-actor videos a month), as listed on the pricing page.
    • New plans start with a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, the plan starts and renews every month until you cancel.
    • Payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record. Polar's terms apply to the payment, and Polar collects and remits VAT or sales tax where required.
    • MCP Ads customers may use a discount code at checkout, on the terms stated with the code.
    • We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change applies from your next billing period after the notice.
  14. 14. AI usage included

    Your plan includes AI usage up to a monthly AI budget per workspace (currently $40 of AI model cost). You never pay extra for AI usage.

    • At 80% of the budget, background work moves to lighter, cheaper models.
    • At 100%, background generation (such as the daily run, research, reels and browser runs) pauses until the budget resets at the start of the next calendar month (UTC).
    • Chat with Cosmo keeps working throughout.
  15. 15. Cancelling and refunds

    • You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app, through the Polar billing portal, or by asking Cosmo (for example “cancel my plan”), who sends you the link to do it. Cosmo never cancels on your behalf.
    • If you cancel during the free trial, you aren't charged.
    • If you cancel after that, your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and the plan doesn't renew.
    • We don't give refunds or partial refunds for unused time, except where we made a billing mistake or where the law requires a refund (for example statutory withdrawal rights in the EU or UK, or under Israeli consumer protection law, where they apply). To ask for one, write to roy@cosmocmo.com.
  16. 16. Acceptable use

    Don't use Cosmo to:

    • send spam, email people without a lawful basis, or ignore opt-outs;
    • publish anything illegal, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit or harmful to minors;
    • impersonate others, or make false claims about products, prices, reviews or results;
    • market illegal goods or services, or anything the platforms you use prohibit;
    • collect or misuse personal data, or harass anyone;
    • break the terms of the platforms you connect, including WhatsApp's business and AI policies;
    • get around the approval system, the AI budget, fair-use limits or security controls;
    • break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it without our written permission.

    We may refuse a request, pause a feature, or suspend or close an account that does any of this. We'll tell you why when we can.

  17. 17. Content and ownership

    You own your inputs and, as between you and us, the work Cosmo makes for you: posts, articles, creatives, videos, lead lists and reports. Ask us and we'll export them for you, including when you leave.

    You give us permission to host, process and transmit that content only as needed to run Cosmo for you. We don't use your content to train AI models. AI output may resemble content made for others, and we don't guarantee it is unique or that it can be protected by copyright.

    You confirm you have the rights to anything you give Cosmo, such as logos, images, product photos and customer quotes.

    We own Cosmo itself: the software, brand and documentation. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

  18. 18. Personal data you give us about others

    When Cosmo processes personal data about your customers, leads or contacts for you (for example an outreach list), you are the controller and we act as your processor, as described in our privacy policy. If you need a signed data processing agreement, write to roy@cosmocmo.com.

  19. 19. Availability and changes to Cosmo

    We aim to keep Cosmo running, but we don't promise any level of uptime. It may be unavailable for maintenance, outages or problems at our providers or the platforms you connect. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major feature you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

  20. 20. No guarantees

    We don't promise specific results, such as sign-ups, sales, rankings, mentions in AI answers, email deliverability or approval by any platform. To the extent the law allows, Cosmo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  21. 21. Liability

    To the extent the law allows:

    • our total liability for all claims related to Cosmo is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim;
    • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, ad spend, or actions taken by platforms you connect.

    Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

  22. 22. Your responsibility to us

    If someone makes a claim against us because of content you approved, how you used Cosmo, or your breach of these terms or the law (for example an outreach email you sent without a lawful basis), you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

  23. 23. Ending the agreement

    • You can cancel at any time, as described above, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to roy@cosmocmo.com.
    • We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice by email, or straight away if you seriously breach these terms, misuse Cosmo, or if a platform or the law requires it.
    • When the agreement ends, Cosmo stops acting for you. You have 30 days to ask for an export of your content, after which we delete your data as described in our privacy policy.
    • Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, liability and governing law) survive the end of the agreement.
  24. 24. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using Cosmo after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

  25. 25. Governing law and disputes

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about Cosmo. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and nothing here takes those rights away.

  26. 26. General

    If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we don't give it up. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it to a business that takes over Cosmo, and we'll tell you if we do. These terms, with the privacy policy and the pricing page, are the whole agreement between us about Cosmo.

  27. 27. Contact
