Approval workflow

An approval workflow is a process where each piece of marketing work (a post, ad, email or article) waits for a named person's yes before it goes live.

Why it matters

It's how teams stay in control as work speeds up. With AI writing and launching, it matters more: the AI can make a lot of things quickly, and a person checks what goes out under their name and money.

A good approval workflow is:

  • Specific. You see the exact post, the exact ad and its budget, the exact email and the list.
  • Fast. Approving takes seconds, from wherever you are.
  • Safe by default. Anything that spends money starts paused.
  • Adjustable. Low-risk work can be auto-approved once you trust it.
  • Learning. Edits and skips teach the system what you want.

How Cosmo handles it

Every action Cosmo proposes is an approval card in your chat. Reply 👍 to approve, ✏️ to change it, or skip. "Yes to all" approves a batch. New ads are created paused. You can turn on auto-approve for low-risk things, like scheduled posts you've already liked. Cosmo learns from every approval, skip and edit. More in approval-first marketing.

FAQ

Approval workflow, answered

Doesn't approving everything slow things down?

Not if approving is one tap. Cosmo batches the morning's cards so most founders spend a few minutes a day.

Can I auto-approve some things?

Yes. Auto-approve is opt-in and meant for low-risk work. Anything that spends money still asks.
